Essay

To describe of substance absorption by polymineral rocks , the model of "effective phases" has been developed. It allows accounting a sorption on minerals of equal chemical compositions with different thermodynamic properties. Potential conditions of the protective layer are estimated. The major features of the uranium and strontium distribution within the lower protective layer of the SRW near surface depositories have been estimated. The conservative estimation of 90Sr content in the solution coming from the protective layer has been made.
