The dissertation analyses the classic university students’ preparation to the educational activity as a pedagogical problem, outlines the essence and role of teacher’s educational activity; theoretically substantiates on the basis of methodological approaches the pedagogical conditions of the classic university students’ preparation to the educational activity, and clarifies the principles of pedagogical education in classic universities in the context of prospective teacher preparation to the educational activity at secondary school. The paper considers and describes the model of classic university students’ preparation as the realization of pedagogical conditions.
