Kazimir I. “Concept BIRD in a language picture of the world of Ukrainian people”

Research object: Linguistic representation of concept BIRD in Ukrainian conversational and literary language. Research purpose: Revelation of features of motivational expression the concept of BIRD in the Ukrainian naive and scientific-poetic pictures of the world, exposure of constructive pictures of the world, revealing of constructive functions of this concept in the picture of the world of Ukrainian poetry of the 20th century. Research methods: Of conceptual description, cognitive-onomasiological analysis, and based on text interpretation, etc. Results, novelty consist that: for the first time in the Ukrainian linguistics we’ve observed the motivational features of Ukrainian ornithonims given in projection on the concept structure, while propositional, associative-terminal, modus, mythological and mixed types of motivation are represented.
