Subject of a study - sick with cirrhosis livers, complicated by hemorrhage and ascites. Purpose is improvement in the results of treating the hemorrhages from the varicose extended veins of the gullet and stomach and putting into practice of the new methods of treatment. Methods: ultrasonic study, doplerography, radioisotope scanning, angiography. Analysis of the results made it possible to base the advantages of the endovascular stoppage of the hemorrhage. In the practice is inculcated the method of simultaneous endovascular embolization of left stomachic vein and artery.
