Essay

For the first time the calculation analysis of stand springing influence on the deformation and power parameters of the cold-pilger rolling process has been carried out. The calculations method of cold-pilger rolling process parameters with stand springing consideration and roll adjustment closing-in at forward and reverse strokes of a stand in definition of reduction in an instant center of deformation has been further developed. New experimental data about the values and nature of a cold-pilger rolling mill stand springing along the processed cone has been obtained. The results of the research have been given to Joint Stock Company "Dnipropetrovs'k Tube Works", for engineering application in cold-pilger rolling process designing and analysis. The results of the research are utilized in the curriculum of the National metallurgical academy of Ukraine.
