Essay

In the dissertation for the first time in the Russian literary criticism have been studied those plays of the Russian playwrights in which the whole dramatic action or some fragments of it are held in the session regime. Author has developed the analysis of problems and poetics of the mentioned material, has characterized the features of the main esthetic dramatic categories (conflict, action, character) and also the techniques of theatrical and dramatic expressiveness, has traced development and popularization of this dramatic model in Russian drama.
