Havrys' I. Effectiveness of the use of growth regulators on tomato plants grown in winter greenhouses

The estimation of effectiveness of the new plant growth regulators (Ivin, Biolan, Reastym and Imunocytophit) on the growth, development, productivity and quality of tomato plants of hybrids Raisa F1 and Maeva F1 grown in greenhouses is shown in the thesis. There was determined the optimal concentrations of growth regulators for seed's germination and plants development. Seeds were treated with growth regulators before planting, plants were treated at top-dressing. The positive effect of growth regulators on seedlings was detected. Growth regulators influence initial organogenesis stages, ferments activity in leaves, tomato plants growth, development and productivity. The earlier harvest of tomatoes was achieved when growth regulators were used. Application of the growth regulator "Biolan" results in tomato yield 44.5 kg/m2 for hybrid Raisa F1 and 44.1 kg/m2 for hybrid Maeva F1, that exceed yield on the control plot by 10.4 and 9.4 kg/m2 respectively. The level of profitability of growth regulators application was 94 and 93 % respectively and exceeds control by 28 and 24 %. The main results of investigations introduced in real farm conditions.
