Filipchuk M. Ethnic Symbolism of Linguistic Units in Ukrainian Ritual Discourse

Object: Vocabulary and phraseology of sacral discourse texts. Aim: to display sacred meanings of certain language units, to define characteristic ethno-cultural concepts of sacral speech, to clear up the role of sacral context in formation cultural consciousness of the people. Method: descriptive-analytical, comparative-historical, comparatively with the elements of conceptual analysis. Scientific newness: for the first time at wide field of the verbal code ethnosymbolism of sacral vocabulary and phraseology is researched, the author attempt to give association - conceptual ideographic description of sacral lexem, and ethnocultural reconstruction of folk aphorisms. Area of application: for courses in lexicology and phraseology of the modern Ukrainian language, ethnolinguistics, ethnocultural studies, religion studies, and for making ethymological, phraseology and ethnographical dictionaries.
