Objekt: the morphological ambiguity. Purpose: realized the structural-semantic and functional characteristics of the morphological homonyms belonging to different part-of-speech of the contemporary Ukrainian language that are used in context processing. Methods: descriptive method, method of linguistic modeling, statistical method, statistical-distributional method. Novelty: the methodological principles of the developed research tools have allowed to form a list of different types and patterns morphological homonyms belonging to different part-of-speech in Ukrainian and to determine their universal description. Area of application: in theoretical and special courses in linguistic semantics, computer lexicography, language processing.
