Sytko O. Poetics of ukranian newlatin poetry. Periods of late Middle Ages and Baroque.

In thesis the phenomenon of Ukrainian newlatin poetry of the late Middle Ages and Baroque period is analysed. Conceptual view on the sources and genesis of this literary phenomenon has been represented; specific character of its development and influence increasing of European latin literature into Ukrainian one is outlined. It is proved that phenomenon of native newlatin literature appeared in general cultural atmosphere of that period and detailed reveald as in spiritual works of polemical tendency as in the world literature of 16-18 ages. On the example of not enough investigated poem by I. Dombrovskiy "The Dnieper water falls" (1619) a genre variety of Ukrainian newlatin historical poetry is investigated; intensified on mythological and folklore nature of picturesqueness in this poem. Semantics of symbols in this genre of poetry is decoded and its synthetic nature is developed.
