Kyriukhin S. Cultural practices and elements of the resource-saving technology for cucumber growing with drop irrigation in the forest-steppe of Ukraine.

Object: regularities of forming of high level of cucumber fruits yield and quality. Aim: increase of fruits yield and quality, raising of profitableness of growing and reducing of produce cost price. Methods: visual, measuring, weight, chemical, statistic, calculated ones. Novelty: there are revealed of forming of high level of cucumber fruits yield and quality; investigated the structure of cucumber plants root system with different practices of irrigation, outline of moisturing with drop irrigation; defined correlation connection between the yield and coefficients of water consumption, index of a fruit shape and size of its seed chamber; calculated economic and bioenergetic efficiency of the proposed practices and elements of the technology of cucumber growing which allow to reduce seed expenditures by 33%, fertilizers - by 50%, irrigating water - by 31% and with this to get profit 12968 Hr/ha, fruits cost price - 0,33 Hr/kg, profitableness - 151,6%, coefficient of bioenergetic efficiency - 1,18. Introduction extent: they are introduced at agricultural enterprises of different forms of property in Kharkiv and Poltava regions. Field of use: vegetable growing.
