Belichenko M. The Poetics of Roman Ivanychuk's historical novels (features of the time and place conceptions).

The dissertation deals with theoretical issues and time-space relations in historical novels. The given dissertation presents one of the few monographic research works on the analyzing poetics categories of time and space in historical novels of Roman Ivanychuk. Some his novels "Points on the stone", "Judi's death", "Renegat", "Thomas's Evangelical", "After the border" having been yet unexplored, they were included in the given research in order to fill the gapes in the investigation of the historical process. These novels were studied in the literary context traditions and innovations of historical prose. R.Ivanychuk is a master of portrait and psychological characteristics of historical persons and personages.
