Susak O. Formation of the Gas-Saturated Void Volume of storages with Gas Operating Mode

The thesis is devoted to the rational exploitation of underground gas storage of Ukraine. There has been proved the desaturation regularity of underground gas storage void volume. Besides, the author has developed a mathematical model for desaturation of storage void volume. On the basis of experimental research of the void volume desaturation process, it has been developed the empirical dependence of maximum change of residual water saturation on the void environment parameters and on the underground gas storage operation modes. The improvement of usage methods of cyclic storage operation hodographs permits to develop the methods for determining the storage parameters on the basis of statistic operation indices of underground gas storage. It, in its turn, gives the possibility to define the gas-saturated void volume of underground gas storage, gas volume in the storage dead zone and to establish the stages of formation of gas-saturated storage void volume.
