The problem of optimal planning of gas transmission facilities management under the conditions of uninterrupted supply of consumers with natural gas in the set volumes and minimization of losses during the operation of the gas transmission system is considered. The general principles of choosing the volume of spare parts in the process of operation of gas supply systems for the cases of renewable and non-renewable elements are given. The process of technical condition management of main gas pipelines, which include various types of elements and have a complex branched and looped structure, is modeled.
