Essay

Dissertation is devoted to study of the new indeterminant tomato's hybrids in winter block glasshouses with a hydroponic system during the prolonged culture and improvement of their growing technology by method of optimization of tomato plants' cluster formation and tank substratum ("Grodan" rockwool). The dynamics of growing and development of the six new indeterminant hybrids has been investigated. The hybrids with the highest productivity and quality of vegetables were chosen. The hybrids Cunero F1 and Alla 2 F1 turned out to have the highest early and total yield. It was established the influence of cluster formation of Raisa F1 hybrid on plant's growth, development and yield. The optimum scheme of cluster formation for obtaining the highest tomato productivity is the scheme with three fruits on the first cluster, four on the second and five on the third cluster and every next one. Out of three different substrate volumes ( 7,500; 5,625; 3,750 l/plant) the option with 3,75 l/plant was selected inwhich the plants developed the maximum assimilation area and had a high yield of 57,8 kg/m2. As the result the production efficiency went from 75,3 % up to 89,0% and bioenergetic efficiency increased was 1,30.
