Essay

The analysis of the peculiarities of clinical progress and endocrine, immunohistochemical and ultrasound descriptions of two types of uterine leiomyoma - with in preference of fibroid or muscle component in women of the late reproductive age is given in the dissertation. The role of psychological dysadaptation in the development of uterine leiomyoma is established in the given work. The necessity of psychestabilizing therapy in treatment of the given pathology is proved. Such factors of the development of uterine leiomyoma as: large quantity of artificial abortions and protracted period of using intrauterine contraception are exposed. Complex study of the peculiarities of hormonal homeostasis, macro and microscopic morphological structure of tumor with prevalence of muscle and fibroid component is carried out. Endocrinological indications of the potential proliferation and malignization of uterine leiomyoma are determined. The ultrasound peculiarities of localization, structure and local circulation ofthe blood of leiomyomas of different types, that show more developed vascularization of "muscle" leiomyomas are described. Exposed clinical, ultrasound and dopplerographycal criteria of different histotypes of leiomyomas give the basis for individual approach to the choice of treatment of given pathology with the purpose of maximum carekeeping of reproductive health and "quality of life" of women with uterine leiomyoma.
