The thesis is devoted to the problem of training of primary teachers for forming schoolchildren’s mathematical notions and ideas. The methodological grounds of readiness and general scientifically approaches to the organization of the system of its psychology-pedagogical and methodology-mathematical training are substantiated. The main pedagogical conditions and defined. They provide the future teacher with readiness to form prime-children’s mathematical notions and ideas. Also the thesis shows the indicates of such a readiness.
