The thesis is about analysis of Ukrainian official lexicon in the period 1917-1933. The evolution of views on the base of notion and category of lingual stylistic had been analyzed, notion had been revealed: functional style, substyle, document, aspect of joining words in thematic groups of lexicon. The classification of official style texts of such ganres as legislative, diplomatic and administrator and office substyles had been made.
