Essay

The dissertation deals with mental models typical for adults and with methods of mental models transformation into more adaptive ones in a situation of life crisis. The research in methodology and procedural aspect of the problem resulted in development of the mental model scheme and of the tools for its transformation. On the experiential level, the developmental program for adults was elaborated "Change management: three frames" that could be used by educators and psychologists working with adults. This technique has been successfully implemented into educational process of three institutions.
