Essay

The methods of hydraulic calculations of fish protection device of "floating flood-plain" tape has been improved, which based upon the system the equation of movement of the liquid with variable expense and the equation of expense at flowing from under the screen. The new experimental quantity of the lengths of seizure zone of water into the water intake and the characteristics of velocity structure of the flow in zone of the action of fish protection device has been given, which composes the conditions for averting of the young fish and the omission of the necessary expenses from the main canal in water intake. The method of the hydraulic calculation of fish protection device of "floating flood-plain" type have been developed, which allow to calculate all parameters of screen device for the different conditions of work of water intake and to decrease the length of the device to 8-14%.
