Оliynik E. Semantic and pragmatic of clarifying complex sentences

The object of research work is clarifying complex sentences in the modern Ukrainian literary language. The goal of the thesis is the system analysis of semantic organization of clarifying complex sentences and their functioning in speech situations of different types. Methods of investigation. The main method that has been chosen is linguistic description with its universal means of observation and interpretation of language facts. The methods of componential, transformational and distributive analysis have been used to serve some certain problems. The novelty of the research has been presented by the system analysis of clarifying complex sentences with their specific structural and grammatical, lexical and semantic, communicative and pragmatic peculiarities based on a large amount of factual material.
