Padalko G. State Functions in the Field of Local Self-Government in Ukraine.

Thesis is devoted to research of the theoretical foundations of the state functions in the field of local self-government in Ukraine as well as constitutional and legal mechanism of their realization. Examining the specific features, forms, principles and methods of the state activity in the field of local self-government, an author analyses the conceptual and the essential descriptions of the state functions in the field of local self-government; the problems state policy-making in the field of local self-government in Ukraine are analyzed. It is justified the special place of the functions in the field of local self-government in the system of functions of the Ukrainian state. The features of the constitutional and legal mechanism of the state functions realization in the field of local self-government in Ukraine, as well as their normatively-legal and legal-organizing foundations are analyzed in the Thesis. It is given the author views concerning the ways of improvement of the constitutional and legal mechanism of the state functions realization in the field of local self-government.
