The purpose is to study the biological features of Valeriana оfficinalis L. in the conditions of region and the development of the separate elements of technology of the growing of Valeriana оfficinalis L. in the conditions of the southern part of the Central Polissya of Ukraine; The object is the processes of the growth and development of Valeriana оfficinalis L., influence of the separate agrotechnical measures of its growing, the indexes of the productivity; the terms of the primary processing of the raw material of Valeriana оfficinalis L. and its high-quality indexes; The article of the research is the plants of Valeriana оfficinalis L., essential oil and extracts matters in medicinal raw material, economic and power evaluation of application of the separate elements of technology of growing of Valeriana оfficinalis L. Research methods are visual, in-gravimetric, monoliths, laboratory-chemical, dispersion, mathematically-statistical. Scientific novelty of the got results - at the first time the influence of the weather factors was set on the passing the phases of the grows and the development of Valeriana оfficinalis L. in the conditions of the southern part of the Central Polissya of Ukraine. The separate elements of technology of the growing of Valeriana оfficinalis L. were developed and improved. The optimum modes of the primary processing (washing, drying) of the medicinal raw material of Valeriana оfficinalis L. were studied, which did not worsen its medical value, and also the economic and the power evaluation of the explored elements of technology of growing of Valeriana оfficinalis L. was conducted medicinal.
