The disertation considers the literature of the Ukrainian Subcarpathia of the first half of the 20th century, the historical conditions of its development and the creation of the two trends united by the patriotic spirit but different by the ideological and aesthetic features: the Narodovets trend was based on the works of Avhustyn Voloshyn, Iryna Nevytska, Yuriy Stanynets and the literature of Deed was presented by the poetry of Stepan-Sebastian Sabol and Ivan Roshko-Irlyavskiy.
