Essay

Thesis is dedicated to the evaluation of structural and functional features of mitral valve apparatus (MVA) present of mitral regurgitation (MR) in patients with postmyocardial infarction cardiosclerosis (PIC), their association with left ventricle (LV) remodeling, cardiac hemodynamics impairment and heart failure (HF) progression. Complex evaluation of LV systolic and diastolic function impairment is presented, as well as left heart chambers geometry changes in different MR stages of severity in the patients with PIC.
