The theoretic-methodological fundamentals of the research are determined, the contents of the basic terminology is specified, the features of the acting persons' characters of the dramaturgic works of Lesya Ukrayinka. In the process of the analysis it's found that in her small forms' dramaturgic works Lesya Ukrayinka used the constatations of the presence of this or that feature, in the dramatic poems she showed the process of characters' formation.
