Korotych K. Associative-Semantic Field “Safety / Danger” in Ukrainian Press Discourse of XX–XXI Centuries

Research object: Ukrainian Press Discourse of XX–XXI Centuries. Research purpose: to find methods of representation of a fragment from language picture of the world by lingual means which denote different aspects of notion «safety / danger»; to clear up features of use constituents of associative-semantic field «safety / danger» in Ukrainian press discourse of XX–XXI centuries. Research methods: descriptive, distributive, discoursive analysis, frame modelling etc. Results, novelty consist that: at first the specific representation of aassociative-semantic field «safety / danger» was system - defined found as a fragment from language picture of the world in diachrony on the material of 1905–2007 Ukrainian press; features of functioning field «safety / danger» in Ukrainian press discourse was discovered. Range of usаge: High school’s courses of lexicology, contemporary Ukrainian language stylistics, courses for special purposes by nominative theory, communicative and cognitive linguistics, theory of speech influence, important process in contemporary Ukrainian language, discoursive analysis.
