Essay

Object: architecture of Ukrainian “Modern” style; а purpose: to discover the features of nationally-romantic direction in architecture of “Modern” style (on the Kharkiv example); methods: analysis of foreign experience; to research the subject of morphological analysis; analysis of the historical, literary, archive and project materials; nature researches, their analysis; systematization of statistical and empiric information; novelty: in to the scientific consumption in Ukraine. Connection with analogical directions of other countries. The features of architecture of the probed direction are systematized. The system of composition facilities and forming of architectonically image is studied. Architecture of direction is considered, as part of the European process. An intercommunication of this direction is with folk architecture and art is probed. The features of the direction are set in Kharkiv architecture. The features of direction are structured, its Kharkiv stylish features are defined. The principles of preserving and reconstruction of architecture of the direction are elaborated; results: the Kharkov features direction are described. Research results its the material for practice: educational process, restoration and reconstruction, protective measures, on sights of architecture, architectural planning, pre-project researches, degree of introduction: an educational process, in methodical recommendations from the planning, the reconstruction of architectural objects; industry of the use: in an educational process, in restoration and reconstruction of architectural objects.
