An object is the process of management by the competitiveness of enterprise of railway transport, based on principles of management of quality of transport services; a purpose is development, scientific ground of theoretical and methodical positions on the management by the competitiveness of enterprise of railway transport and introduction of the system of management of quality; methods – systems analysis, statistical and expert estimations, matrix method, benchmarking analysis, economic-mathematic design; novelty – the model of control of quality of maintenance of passengers on the stations on the basis of diagnostics of indexes of the material and technical providing, informative service, providing of vehicular process and quality of work of personnel is first developed; results – system of management by the elements of competitiveness of transport enterprise, model of estimation of competitiveness of transport service in passenger transportations; it is inculcated in practice of service-centers ofthe stations of the South and South-west railways; industry of the use – activity of enterprises of passenger transport industry, educational process of higher educational establishments.
