Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of study of psychological features of self-actualization of the personality of future psychologists and teachers. The sense of notion “self-actualization of the personality of future psychologist and teacher” is exposed, the emotional components of students’ attitudes to the meaningful objects are studied; the peculiarities of awareness of meaning, essence and specification of self-actualization process of future psychologists and teachers are studied; the levels of self-actualization of their personality are defined; the strategies of students’ self-affirmation and the level of social creativity are studied; the readiness for the professional-pedagogical self-growth is defined. The dynamics and gender features of self-actualization of the personality of future psychologists and teachers is exposed. According to the results the method of stimulation of self-actualization of student youth is developed and approved in the educational process. The effectiveness of the program is proved by the positive dynamics in common, and by the separate components of self-actualization of students of experimental groups in particular, made on the basis of comparison with the results of control groups.
