Thesis is devoted to theoretical and practical problems of organizational and legal guaranteeing of vital activity safety of policemen. Social and legal characteristics of vital activity safety of policemen as the base of their effective professional activity are presented in this work. The place, role and notion of organizational and legal guaranteeing of vital activity safety of police rank and file and command staff are determined. Factors of reducing vital activity safety of policemen are defined. The essence of normative and legal guaranteeing of organization and management in the sphere of professional immunity of police personnel is researched. Correlation of organizational and managing, normative and legal measures and means of guaranteeing vital activity safety of police rank and file and command staff is determined on the base of the analysis of theoretical basics of organizational and legal guaranteeing of policemen safety. The main measures improving organizational and legal mechanism of guaranteeing vital activity safety of policemen, influence of discipline keeping by police rank and file and command staff and their professional qualities on professional safety are viewed. The ways of systematization of normative and legal guaranteeing of vital activity safety of policemen are determined on the base of the gained results.
