Dissertation is based on the materials of examining the patients with arterial hypertension (AH) and metabolic syndrome (MS) acoording to АТРІІІ criteria without diabetes mellitus (DM) with the purpose of treatment efficacy improvement. On the basis of studying insulin resistance (IR) features with the help of clinical examination, carbohydrates metabolism according to glucose tolerance test, serum lipids panel, 24-hours blood pressure monitoring in the patients with AH and MS without DM. Sphere of implication - clinical medicine. Results are applied to the practice of healthcare facilities.
