Object - mother-placenta-foetus system in intrauterine foetus infection; methods of research - clinical, laboratory (immune-enzyme assays, bacteriological methods), instrumental (ultrasonic, cardiac monitoring, Doppler studies), morphological and statistical; novelty - effect of prostaglandins and chemokines on the course of pregnancy and labour in women with intrauterine foetus infection has been determined, biotope status of pregnant women and their sexual partners in comparison with microbiocoenoses of newborns has been studied, the way of forecasting of intrauterine foetus infection in risk groups has been developed, estimation of pathomorphological changes in organs of died newborns and placentae in IFI has been performed, principles of preventive correction of intrauterine foetus infection have been proved; results - prevention of intrauterine foetus infection; area - medicine.
