Object of research: processes of forming of the socio-economic system of the state in a transformation period, its quantitative and high-quality estimation in the aspect of economic safety. Purpose of research: scientific ground of essence of economic safety as systems, development and realization of above all directions of providing of economic safety of the real to the sector of economy on the example of Ukraine. Methods of research: empiric method, logical-theoretical method, causally-logical method, abstractly-theoretical method. Results: certainly additional, system formative economic safety descriptions, as which offered: probabilistic character of economic safety, purposefulness, contradiction, dirigibility, capacity, for self development, independence and firmness; the system of principles of state policy is offered in area of warning and removal of risks of safety: principle of complexity, principle of the system; system of indexes, includes three levels: indexes of food, investment and technological safety; indexes of social safety, and the system of maximum values is offered after every of the noted indexes; conception of providing of economic safety of the real to the sector of economy in a transformation period is developed.
