The problems of efficient employment in the conditions of innovative economic development are described, forms of effective employment are investigated, its key indicators, ways of improving the effective employment in the modern conditions are substantiated. The author examines the economic and social content of effective employment, criteria and key indicators of effective employment. The historical aspect is represented by concepts of effective employment with a special emphasis on modern theories. The main provisions on which the theory of effective employment is based are formulated by representatives of the classical, Marxist, neoclassical, Keynesian, monetarist, institutional and sociological schools. In modern terms got distribution and other conceptions, for example, conception of social partnership, conception of human capital, conception of flexible labor-market, contract theory of employment, informative theory, theory of analysis of economic temporal rows, model of life cycle of suggestion of labor, conception of participation of worker in the matters of firm, service conception of employment, conception of global employment. In dissertation accents are done on the variety of forms of effective employment in modern terms, necessity of restructuring of employment in the conditions of innovative transformations, that will be instrumental in the increase of competitiveness of labor force. The various forms of effective employment are probed in the conditions of innovative development, namely: flexible, temporal, primary, second, employment is in home terms, paid social works, leasing of personnel, outsourcing personnel, controlled from distance employment, supernumerary controlled from distance employment, mobile full (incomplete) employment, work in the specially equipped office.
