Pryimak A. Optimization of multimodality treatment of psoriasis, employing chronodeterminated antioxidant therapy and laser photophoresis

The dissertation deals with the task of raising the efficacy of treating psoriasis by means of a complex method, employing chronodeterminated antioxidant therapy and laser photophoresis, taking into account the peculiarities of the circadian rhythms of patient’s oxidant-antioxidant homeostasis. Disbalance and desynchronosis of the circadian rhythms of the parameters of oxidant-antioxidant homeostasis, dependent on the clinical pecture of psoriasis has been established. The author has developed a new mode of treatment of psoriasis which envisages a chronodeterminated use of the Vita-Melatonin antioxidant medication and differentiated laser photophoresis against a background of basic therapy, which brings about a normalizing and synchronizing effect on the state of oxidant-antioxidant homeostasis, as well as shortens the terms of treatment and reduces the recurrence rate of psoriasis.
