Zubchenko O. The electoral culture as the object of sociological research

The dissertation provides the complex analysis of electoral culture of contemporary Ukrainian society, main features of its functioning on the regional level are examined, structural-functioning model of electoral culture is done.The electoral culture is searched as social phenomenon which is based on the doubled identification of citizens towards political elections: "citizen-voter" and "citizen-supporter of certain political forces".The sense, peculiarities and character of electoral culture of South Ukraine and main stages of its formation are discovered. The social mechanisms of functioning of electoral culture such as cratological, identeficational, preferential are characterized.
