The object: institutional structure of banking activity. The aim of research: to study of the particularities institutional transformations of the bank systems in condition of the transition to market economies. Methods of research: analysis and synthesis, union of logical and historical approaches, induction and deduction. New results: open bases, contents and nature of transformations of bank activity in condition of the classical type of the development of market economies and inversion type of the transition from command economy to market. At analysis of the particularities of the functioning the banks in condition market and command economy in study are revealed general line and differences such bank systems.
