Ruban A. World outlook peculiarities of the Ukrainian national character (philosophical-anthropological analysis).

The dissertation is devoted to philosophical and anthropological analysis of the world outlook peculiarities of the Ukrainian national character in the conditions of culture globalization. In this thesis the terms "national character", "Ukrainian mentality" and "Ukrainian mentalitet" are thoroughly characterized. The basic theoretic grounds in studying Ukrainian mentality are analyzed. The conception of national character content that changes in different periods is created. According to the national ideal, a person connects himself through likeness with forefathers and events, which formed their character. Its notes, that imagination about the people character is a collective imagination of the definite nationality, because it has conclusion with the humanity being of the definite ethnos. The conception of national character crosses with the notion of world outlook and differs from mentality. The national character as a system of features that appear after person's realization of his being in definite ethnos and his belonging to it is analyzed in dissertation. There is a connection between the person being and history of definite nation.
