Golovina N. The phraseological units denoting wish in German and Ukrainian (Linguistic and Caltural Aspect).

This dissertation focuses of the study of national-linguistic specifity of the fraseological units denoting wish in German and Ukrainian. Given the latest achievements in contrastive phraseology, cultural studies, semiotics, a comparative analysis of these units has been accomplished of their connotative modality Contrastive typological analysis of the phraseological units denotiny wish in German and Ukrainian has been carried on the base of the object-subject classification of the denotative component. It allows to define the specificity of the content’s language presentation, to clear up the character of the semantic motivation’s dependence of the wishes from the denotative seme of the component “natural / life reality”. The reasons which provoke similarity and difference in phraseological semantics of the contrastive languages have been established. The level of the phrase- formation potential of the denotative component in the semantic field “wish” in German and Ukrainian has been arranged. The relations between the significance and implicit sense of the polysemantic oppositions are made known and the national symbols of their constituent in German and Ukrainian wishes have been analyzed.
