The dissertation is devoted to forming of patriotism as an important ant factor of the Ukrainian youth socialization at the present stage of political process. On the basis of the analyzing of the state laws and special programs for the developing of patriotism forma-tion in the Ukrainian youth the renovation proposals of conceptual model of the patriotic upbringing of the youth on the social-economic level, on the state-legal level, on the social-political level and in the field of the country defence are described in the thesis.
