Object: tertiary treatment of sewage in bioponds with high water vegetation (HWV) from biological, organic and mineral pollutions. Aim: scientifically basis conditions of tertiary treatment of sewage in bioponds with high water vegetation, from biological, organic and mineral pollutions. Methods of investigations: for realization of problem put by, we used sanitary-chemical, sanitary-bacteriological, sanitary-virusological and statistic methods of investigation, novelty-for the first time scientifically proved expediency of using bioponds with high water vegetation for tertiary treatment of sewage, from the rests of biological, organic and mineral pollutions by macrofitis with hydraulic loading of biopond 3000m3/hectare/day with duration of flow stay in structure during 5-7 days. For the first time experimentally examined effect of biologically-active substances of high water vegetation: Phragmitis communis L., Typha latifolia L., Typha angustifolia L., Acorus calamus L., Scirpus lacustris L., Lemna minor L. and other green algaes relative to their abilitys to actively inactivate pathogenic bacterium and viruses in aquatic environment. Established fact that among high water vegetation exist species which is contains biologically-active substances with virucidal abilitys. Investigated fragment of gomological row of high water vegetation of biopond,which has an ability to intensity process of tertiary treatment sewages and to set it free from remains of biological, organic and mineral pollutions. Based on research which was made, quality of tertiary treatment sewages of metallurgical region in biopond with high water vegetation was established, that by sanitary-chemichal and sanitary-microbiological indexes is meet the requirements of sanitary regulations and standarts for wash-water, without damaged for open reservoir or can be used for as far as 40 % to inverse water-supply like technical water. Range of adoption: at the heart of development of declamatory patent of Ukraine for invention № 68252 А, WСI 7 СО2F3/32 "method of water disinfection" lies investigation of dissertation paper. Worked out and introduced technological order "Purification of industrial sewage from Krivorogsk ore mining and processing enterprise of oxidized ore city of Dolinska Kirovograd region, Ukraine for 5000m3/day in bioponds, which was planted with high water vegetation". Methodical recommendation which was given" realization of governmental sanitary surveillance over operation of bioponds with high water vegetation". 3 inculcation of results of scientific research of dissertation paper in cleaning drainage structure of Krivorogsk ore mining and processing enterprise of oxidized ore city of Dolinska Kirovograd region ministry of industrial policy of Ukraine.
