Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the theoretical substantiation of immune, metabolic and clinical disorders in the pathogenesis of low jaw fractures. The new method of treatment is proposed based on the application of adhesive splint techniques in combination with phytopreparation Comarum palustre. It is shown that at low jaw fractures the parameters of systemic immunity are depressed, as well as the activity of antioxidant enzymes, the processes of lipid peroxidation and prostanoid metabolism are activated. The positive action of Comarum palustre application is established, especially in combination with adhesive splint techniques. The obtained data are used in the practical activity of numerous dental clinics.
