Essay

The dissertation is devoted to research the current status of in River Ros' basin. There are 33 species of fish in this basin now, 8 of them are aliens by translocation and natural range expansion. The number of alien species goes up but native species from some ecological group vanish, especially bottom's, running water's fish and with single roe portion during spawning in early spring and spring - summer. The autochthonous ichthyofauna of River Ros' basin demand more protection firstly through preservation of the biotopes.
