Essay

The author has elucidated the results of the pear clonal rootstocks complex estimation in a parental garden and nursery of the Transkarpathia's lowland. The high-productive forms IS 2-10, quince U and quince de Provence have been singled out in the parental garden. In the process of studying the pear cultivar-rootstocks combinations growth peculiarities in a nursery the rootstocks quince U, VA-29, IS 2-10 and quince de Provance have been selected which ensure high phytometric parameters of the cvs Conference, Vyzhnytsya, Kucheryanka, Yabluniv'ska and Stryis'ka growth, leaf apparatus and root system. The heat- and drought-resistance of pear cultivars and cultivar-rootstocks combinations have been determined. The dissertant has established the parameters of the pear rootstocks and cultivar-rootstock combinations foliage spectral characteristics. The selected combinations distinguish themselves for a high planting tree yield with a crown and generative buds in the nursery third field and are economicallyprofitable. The results of the researches have undergone the production test and are recommended for nursery farms.
