The analysis of cognitive specific's theorethical-methodological potential of J.Habermas's conception of communicative rationality is taken in the thesis. The interpretation of notion the "cognitive", "theorethical-methodological potential" of scientific conception, the position of conception of communicative rationality in social cognition on the whole, its theorethical-methodological and system characteristics, the formative direction of this conception, its main concept-category's structure and methodological base in the context of cognitive perspectiveness for application in sociological science are examined.
