Essay

The dissertation research reconstructs the conceptualization of the problem of temporal measurement of the interaction of actors in the interobjective aspect. It is shown that the principle of symmetry, which is interpreted in ANT as a description of equal heterogeneous actors, is not implemented in the analysis of networks in practice, because inequality between actants is always implicitly assumed; revealed the contradictory nature of the relationship "space-time" in actor-network theory in terms of actants: the concept of time and space is fragmentary and inconsistent, and as a result, the conceptualization of actors and the formation of local phenomena and orders is incomplete. It is determined that alternative attempts to overcome the limitations in the application of the principle of symmetry through the introduction of the concepts of region (Law) and flow (Mol) open opportunities to overcome the asymmetry between actors in space, but not in time. Latour's double conceptualization of the dyad "timespace" is revealed: in the trope version time and space form unity, in the case of networks they are two different phenomena, which violates the concept of relativity, according to which both time and space are derived from actant actions. The relation of the concept of time and the principle of symmetry is found out: interaction of actors in networks is often considered so that between these actors essential asymmetries where some actors start to play a secondary role are formed.
