Bavykina V. Political actionism in the context of social action theory.

Object of the study: political actionism in contemporary art. Subject of the study: political actionism as a form of social action. Objective: conceptualization of the phenomenon of political actionism in the context of social action theory. Research methods: analysis, synthesis, generalization, analogy, induction, terminological analysis, historical-genetic, typological and comparative analysis, method of informal online interview. Theoretical and practical results: development of conceptual foundations of sociological analysis of the phenomenon of political actionism, creation of a three-component model of interpretation of the phenomenon of political actionism and typology of political actionism as a form of social action, determination of basic characteristics of political actionism, analysis of the processes of socio-political transformations in relation to the development of artistic practices. Some provisions of the dissertation can be used in the study of contemporary culture, involved in research exhibition projects, serve as a methodological basis for sociological research of art both in Ukraine and abroad. Novelty: solving an important problem in the field of theoretical sociology – conceptualization of the phenomenon of political actionism in the context of of social action theory. Degree of implementation: the results of the research can be implemented in the courses "Sociology", "Theory and History of Sociology", "Sociology of Culture" and "Sociology of Art" for students of the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
