The dissertation is devoted to the complex research of the peculiarities of the institution of reparation of damage, caused by source of increased danger. The notions and characteristics of the source of increased danger, grounds of liability for damage, caused by the source of increased danger are investigated. The legal category of control as a special characteristic of the source of increased danger is considered in the research paper. The peculiarities of civil liability for particular types of sources of increased danger according to legislation of Ukraine and certain systems of law, mainly nuclear and toxic tort are investigated. On the ground of determination and analysis of the peculiarities of liability for damage, caused by the source of increased danger the suggestions as to improving the legislation are introduced.
