Shcherbina O. Automation of Field Strengths Measurement.

The dissertation is devoted to development of the block diagram of the automatic complex for electromagnetic field parameters measurement, including field strength, that is now important and urgent. The current status sphere of electromagnetic field characteristics measurements is analyzed and line of development works on measurements improvement is defined. The various requirements on field strength meanings and power flux density are considered. Methods of field strength measurement and typical field-strength meter's block diagrams also are considered. The automatic measuring complex allows not only exactly and quickly measure of electromagnetic field strength but also automatically adapts for polarization and direction of incoming electromagnetic wave is developed. The separate elements of the given complex are developed also. The essentially new method for antenna effective length measurement with due account for influence of reflection from ground is described . In the given method is used the auxiliary measuring aerial. The separate elements of the automatic measuring complex operation is mathematically described.
